Product Storage & Handling

Storage

  • It is recommended for the planks to be stacked horizontally on a flat surface.
  • In case of thinner planks, we advise a base that is 18mm in thickness.
  • Vertical stacks are not advised but if necessary, vertical support must be provided
  • Uniformity in gaps should be maintained between the boards, from one end to another.

Sawing

  • The recommended saws to be used on these products are tungsten carbide tipped saw and fine toothed cross cut saw.
  • Saw blade projection must be properly adjusted above the board for the cut to be clean.
  • Keep the board in motion while sawing to avoid any built-up heat.

Fixing & Fitting

  • If glue has to be applied in the process of fixing, clean and scrape the surface prior to gluing.
  • We recommend using a rubber base glue.
  • If fitting is to be done using screws, our recommendations are pilot hole and full threaded screws.
  • Always ensure that the distance of the screw from the corner is 10 mm on the edge and 25 mm on the face. Hammering the screw is not recommended.
